Firmware Upgrades

This site will provide you with the tools necessary to upgrade your XM Satellite Radio to the latest available firmware. There are a number of XM Satellite Radios that are supported, please find your radio and download the appropriate tool to obtain firmware updates for your radio.

Download the XM Update Tool to your PC. Run the tool and follow directions to update your firmware.
XM Update Tool (R2.45) NOTE: Requires Windows XP SP2 or higher and Windows Media Player 11 or higher.

Your radio's firmware version is displayed on the bottom left of the screen during power up.
After successfully updating, you should see V1.30 (for XMp3) or V1.31x (for XMp3i).

Download the XM Firmware Update Client to your PC. Run the tool and follow directions to update your firmware.
